What's New?
The Town of Essex has joined ICLEI-Local Governments (www.iclei.org) for Sustainability and is participating in the Cities for Climate Protection program to reduce global warming pollution from residents, commercial, industrial, transportation and waste sectors. We will complete the Five Milestones: inventory greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, adopt a GHG reduction target, develop a Climate Action Plan, implement the Plan, and monitor and verify the results.
